In 1980 saw a new sponsor, Perth Building Society and the introduction of under10 and over10 girls divisions played in the PBS Inter-District Carnival at Langley Park over 8 weeks. A fee of $5 per team was introduced and the first country team (Busselton) attended. 43 teams participated.
