IGA State Championships 2016

In 2016 IGA took over sponsorship and the championships were called the IGA State Championships and held at Langley Park over a 3 day long weekend. Financial assistance was received from City of Perth. 84 teams participated.

In 2012 the Fielders Choice State Championships were held at Langley Park over a 3 day long weekend. Financial assistance was received from City of Perth. 68 teams participated. Due to changes in age group rules there was no under 13 competition this year.

In 2011 the Fielders Choice State Championships were held at Langley Park over a 3 day long weekend. Financial assistance was received from City of Perth. The under 13 girls competition was dropped because of lack of nominations. 88 teams participated and a non gender under 12 competition was added.

State Championships 2001

In 2001 the State Championship Carnival was held at Langley Park over a 3 day long weekend. Also the under10 boys and under11 boys divisions changed to under10 and under11, and the under12 boys division changed to under13. 110 teams participated.

In 2000 the State Championship Carnival was held at Langley Park over a 3 day long weekend. Also an under12 boys division was introduced. 114 teams participated.

In 1999 Challenge bank withdrew their sponsorship so the State Championship Carnival was held over a 3 day long weekend at Maida Vale Reserve on the first day and Langley Park on the second and third day. 114 teams participated.

Challenge Bank State Championships 1998

In 1998 the Challenge Bank State Championships were changed, to enable the country teams to participate, from five Sundays to a three day long weekend at Langley Park. Geraldton and Wickham attended. 106 teams participated.

In 1984 the name was changed to the PBS State Championships and was held at Langley Park over 5 weeks. 86 teams participated.

PBS State Championship Carnival 1983

In 1983 the name was changed to PBS State Championship Carnival and was held at Yokine Reserve (3 weeks) and Willetton Reserve (2 weeks) with two games each Friday night at Parry Field. 82 teams participated.

PBS Inter-District Tee-Ball Carnival 1982

In 1982 the PBS Inter-District Carnival was played at Yokine Reserve over 5 weeks. 72 teams participated.

PBS Inter-District Tee-Ball Carnival 1981

In 1981 the PBS Inter-District Carnival at Langley Park was reduced to 5 weeks and girls over10 division changed to girls under13. 60 teams participated.

PBS Inter-District Tee-Ball Carnival 1980

In 1980 saw a new sponsor, Perth Building Society and the introduction of under10 and over10 girls divisions played in the PBS Inter-District Carnival at Langley Park over 8 weeks. A fee of $5 per team was introduced and the first country team (Busselton) attended. 43 teams participated.

Commonwealth Bank Inter-District Tee-Ball competition 1979

In 1979 under9, under10 and under11 boys divisions were used for the first time in the Commonwealth Bank Inter-District Tee-Ball competition held at Langley Park over 8 weeks. 24 teams participated.

Commonwealth Bank Inter-District Tee-Ball competition 1978

In 1978 with more clubs entering the competition (South Perth and Swan Districts) and a change of name to Commonwealth Bank Inter-District Tee-Ball competition for under10 boys was held over 9 weeks in February and March at a different club each week. 8 teams participated.

Inter-District Tee-Ball Competition (1977)

In 1977 with another club entering the competition (Wanneroo) and a sponsor found, the Commonwealth Bank Tee-Ball competition for under10 boys was held over 7 weeks in February and March at a different club each week. 8 teams participated.

First Inter-District Tee-Ball Competition (1976)

In 1976 eight under10 boys teams (5 from Wembley, 1 from Morley and 2 from Perth – this was all the tee-ball teams playing in Western Australia) played a short competition at Woodlands. 8 teams participated.
